This is a logo I made for a friend for their shop on
etsy. They wanted me to incorporate the Native American animal symbol
within the hand designs along with the spiral. They wanted me to make it
look primitive in design, so I added a rocky texture in the hand and
added the orange color in the background to look like a cave painting.
This was the last part of painting the sculpture with a glaze. I used red iron oxide for the skin, painted the eyes with a clear glaze and put wax over the eyes to preserve the original colors.
